When the Belgium rijkswacht needed a fast and reliable vehicle to patrol their motorways, they looked at their surrounding neighbours. The German and Dutch police force already relied on the quality of Porsches to survey their motorways.

The Belgium rijkswacht order the first batch of 10 cars at D'ieteren Porsche. Different from the Dutch police targa's these cars are coupe models fitted with a sunroof.
This sunroof was used to give directions to other road users. The 2.4E engine was chosen because it was reliable with its electronic ignition but also with 165ph fast enough to give chase when needed. 1973 was the last year for the classic 911 and some design cues for the new 911 were are already noticeable. The foremost being the so called cooky cutter wheels.

In total the Belgium rijkswacht ordered 20 cars in two batches of 10 and this car is one the first batch of cars. The car comes with all of the police adaptations and accessories such as:

Police lights
4 front mounted sirenes horns
Correct Belgium Rijkswacht decals
Illuminated rear mounted STOP sign
CB radio installation
Extra rear foglight

The car is in a good state and drives and handles very well. It can still keep up with modern traffic.
This a rare opportunity to own a part of unique Porsche history.
